My Favourite Big Mutant 1

As a Chaos collector I have a number of conversion projects. Also when Codex Eye of Terror was released I created my own force for the Lost and the Damned.

This is just one of my Big mutants, and I have to say a personal favourite of mine, mainly because it was the first I created for the squad, but also, I love the mask it wears, take from the defiler, gives quite the air of menace.

The figure itself is a plastic Ogre from the Ogre Kingdoms range, which I think alot of people use these days for Ogryns anyway more than the metal ones.

The basic story for the origins of the Big Mutans in my army is that they were indeed originally Ogryns, but then the Guardsmen turned to Chaos, they met up with the great Chaos experiment Fabius bile, now their Ogryns are simply hulking fighting machines.

Two of these where masks (as the one shown here for example) which are hardwired into the spinal chords of the Ogryn (see the 3rd image I posted for actual example), 3 of the Big Mutants that don't where masks, simply have added wiring protruding from the backs due to an experiment carried out by Fabius Bile which went horrible wrong, now the two with masks act as controls for these failed warriors.
